Decarbonising Fossil-Fuel DH Systems

Explore the stage of district heating development in Serbia with SupportDHC

This webinar explores practical approaches to transitioning existing systems towards more sustainable and efficient solutions, with a focus on resource identification, system upgrades, and strategic planning.

Open to all stakeholders, the session is particularly relevant for those working with existing or developing district heating systems, including contexts such as Serbia and similar markets undergoing transformation and modernisation.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Identifying and assessing renewable energy sources for district heating
  • Evaluating the potential of waste heat integration
  • Supporting system modernisation through planning and technical approaches
  • Key considerations for transitioning towards low-carbon district heating systems

The webinar features experiences from European frontrunner and follower cases, showcasing how modernisation strategies are developed and implemented in practice.

This session is part of a broader webinar series addressing different stages of district heating development across Europe. For more information, visit www.supportdhc.eu
