From data to impact: decarbonising heat networks with Digital Twin technology
This webinar will present the intermediate results of Green Heat Life Work Package 2, focusing on how decarbonisation and optimisation scenarios can be defined, tested and assessed for district heating networks using GRADYENT's Digital Twin platform.
The diverse Consortium partners will present their network cases, including the scenarios explored, feasibility findings and GHG emission reductions. The discussion will also address decarbonisation as an integrated process involving changes in energy sources, network adaptation, source diversification and network expansion to connect additional users.
The webinar will also highlight the lessons learnt, replication opportunities and a discussion with the wider DH community.
